Not your average software developer...
After a 20-year military career and completion of a Master's degree in Computer Science, I joined PenBay Technology Group where I serve an Agile software development team as the Scrum Master and a full-stack developer, leveraging modern tools and design standards to deliver high-quality enterprise software to a federal government client.
As a Coast Guard senior leader, I developed expertise in leadership, management, training, and mentorship, and advanced to the highest enlisted paygrade (E-9, Master Chief Petty Officer). During my career I earned numerous small boat and law enforcement certifications, trained countless numbers in Coast Guard operations, and collaborated with federal, state, and local partners to ensure the safety of life at sea. As an Officer in Charge from 2017-2022, I led teams to overwhelming success in the execution of over 2,000 missions.
